Bars in the news; Checks on bars net 72 tickets

From the News-Gazette

Checks on bars net 72 tickets

Illinois State and Champaign police conducted an Operation Campus/Tap detail on two different weekends in Champaign last month and issued 72 citations.

During the late evening hours of Jan. 21 and Jan. 29 police made the rounds of 10 Champaign County bars, most of them on campus, to deter underage drinking among high-school and college-age youth.

Here's the rundown:

Firehaus, 9

Joe's Brewery, 9

White Horse Inn, 3

Red Lion, 19

It's Brother's 9

Kam's 12

Chester Street, 4

Illini Inn, 0 (why list it in the article?)

Clybourne, 8

Esquire Lounge, 0 (why list it?)

So, if you are looking to go pick up drunk underage people, go to Red Lion.
