No Refusal Weekend in Macon County
Decatur, IL- Macon County authorities will be cracking down on drunk drivers this Labor Day weekend.
The Macon County State's Attorney says prosecutors and a judge are teaming up with police for a "No Refusal Weekend".
This weekend, if anyone stopped on suspicion of driving under the influence refuses to take a breath test, police can request a warrant on the spot. That warrant would require the driver to provide a blood sample to test their blood alcohol level.
